Why would you spend thousands of dollars to get an American education in Singapore? I guess I don’t really understand the purpose of the school. Help me out?

I’m of a pure chinese decent with my grandparents from China. My Indonesian chinese friends look different from Singaporean Chinese and of course we all look very different from Chinese from China. American born chinese also look very different. American Negros look different from African Negros even when they are pure Negros with decendants from Africa. Why do we look different when we are the same race in different parts of the world?

Most atm machines only accept cards from Singapore banks. I need to withdrawal cash from my American bank. Where can I find am atm that will accept my American Visa debit card? Visa is not accepted everywhere. It depends if it is an American Visa or a Visa from Singapore. Citibank ATMs will accept Visa debit cards from the U.S. Found one and tried it last night. Thanks, all.
