Asking such question……kindly indicate yourself….where from? what purpose… to do business, to look for job or to stay for good?

When we answer, we do not know WHY?

The cost of living is highest in Asean. For a person…..Rent a room $400-, $500- monthly necessity, $15 for transport (MRT & Bus) per week, luxury $200-. That will be the average cost per month….around $1,200.

This is too vague as everyone’s living standard is different. But as a guideline, Mercer Consultant says Singapore is the 12th most expensive city to live in the world. It is about 12% more expensive to live in SG than New York City, according to the Mercer research. You can look it up in Google if you want more details.

Lets just say, I have seen a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 school going kids) survive on a monthly income of $2,000.. if you want to live the high life, then nothing is enough..
